| 2011 MAXXIS SC Dirt Series Rules / Format A. The MAXXIS SC State Dirt Series: will present a six (6) Race Point / Money Series Event for the 2011 Season. . The Best Five (5) Point Race Finishes will be counted for the year end Points Championship in Each Point Class. . The top 10 Point Finishers in each Class will Advance to the 2011 MAXXIS National Championship Event. . Note: All 2011 Points Classes will be MAXXIS National Transfer Classes. Pro Classes will Pay Money and NO Year end Awards. . Note: Driver must participate in a minimum of 3 SC Series Races to receive an Invitation to the MAXXIS National Event. B. Bonus Points: will be added to the Drivers year end Points Total. . Driver’s registering and qualifying in a Point Class in all 6 Races will receive 50 Bonus Points for class entered. . Driver’s registering and qualifying in a Point Class in Race # 3 will receive 25 Bonus Points for class entered. . Note: A Driver must participate in a minimum of 5 of the 6 Scheduled MSCDS Races to be eligible for year in awards. . Note: Any Class not maintaining and Average of 8 entries in any 2 races will no longer qualify for year end awards. . Note: A Driver will be allowed one substitute Driver in the Season. Sub Driver cannot receive Bonus Points. C. Point Tie: In the event of a Point tie in a Class for the MAXXIS SC Dirt Series Championship: . Championship will be determined by the Competitor with the most Wins in the Class. . All remaining ties will be decided by the highest finishing position of the competitor in the Class at the last Series Event. D. Entry Fee Points: $35.00 Per Class: Reserved Numbers: $5.00 Per Class . Entry Fee Money: $35.00 Per Class: 1st $200.00 2nd $100.00 3rd $50.00 : 10 Kart Minimum or 100% pay out. . Entry Fee for Special Pro Classes will be set on Purse : E. Gate Fee: Adult & Drivers $15.00: Kids 8-14 $10.00 : Kids 7 & under Free. . Gates will Open Race Day @ 8am. Registration and Safety Tech will open from 9am until 12noon. . Open practice 9:00am. until 9:30am. Controlled practice @ 9:30am. 2 Rounds: Drivers Meeting and Qualifying to Follow. . Note: There will be no Parking on Friday unless arraigned with the Track and or the Series 2 weeks in advance F. Numbers: All Karts will be required to have 4 Legible Numbers on the Kart to be scored. If Scoring determines the numbers Non-Legible the Karter will have to change the numbers as to the approval of Scoring before being allowed to participate. G. Safety: Karts must be Safety Teched before being allowed to qualify or compete. All Frame, Body and Safety Rules apply. H. Engines: All Engines will be required to follow the 4-Cycle Engine Specifications as per the AKRA Tech Manual. . All Briggs Engines must have 3 Tech Bolts installed: Carburetor, Head and Side Plate. Mufflers will be required. . Box Stock Project Engines will be subject to a Claimer Rule: $300.00 as per Shipping . I. Tires: All Classes will be required to run MAXXIS Tires (4). Any Compound MAXXIS Tire Allowed : No Recaps . All Adult Box Stock Clone Classes will be required to run the MAXXIS EL Compound Tires Only. . Tires can be cut and prepping will be allowed in personal pit area only. No prep will be allowed out side personal pit areas. . No Torches will be allowed in pit area.
