2009 MAXXIS National Tour Event Format: A. The MAXXIS National Tour: will present a six (6) Race Point / Money Series Event for the 2009 Season. . The best 5 of the 6 Series Point Race Finishes will be counted for the year end Points Championship in Each Point Class. . The top 10 Point Finishers in each Class will Advance to the 2009 MAXXIS National Championship Event. B. Any Driver Registering and Qualifying in a Point Class or Point Classes in all 6 Races in the 2009 Series will receive 25 Bonus Points for those Classes entered. Bonus Points will be added to the Drivers year end Points Total. . Any Driver Registering and Qualifying in a Point Class or Point Classes in Race # 3 of the 2009 Series will receive 25 Bonus Points for those classes entered. Bonus Points will be added to the Drivers year end Points Total. . MAXXIS National Tour Transfer Points: Divisional Drivers will receive 10 Transfer Points Per Event up to... 50 Points to Transfer to the MAXXIS National Tour for Each Class they Sign up and Qualify in. . A Driver must participate in a minimum of 3 Nationals to receive an Invitation to the MAXXIS National Championship Event. All Divisional Transfers must be from the same State Divisional. C. In the event of a Point Tie in a Class for the MAXXIS National Tour Championship: The Point Tie for the Championship will be determined by the Competitor with the most Wins in the Class. All remaining ties will be decided by the highest finishing position of the competitor in the Class at the last Series Event. D. Any Class not maintaining and Average of 8 or more Entries after the completion of the Second Race of the 2009 Season . The Class will be dropped from the Awards and or the remaining Four Scheduled Event Races for the 2009 Season. . A Driver must participate in a Class a minimum of 4 of the 6 Scheduled Race Events to be Eligable for Year End Awards. E. All Karts will be required to have 4 Legible Numbers on the Kart to be scored. If Scoring determines the numbers are Non-Legible the Karter will have to change the numbers as to the approval of Scoring before being allowed to participate. F. All Karts must be Safety Teched before being allowed to Qualify or to Compete in Event. . All Frame, Body and Safety Tech Rules will apply as per the 2008 Tech Manual. G. All Engines will be required to follow the 4-Cycle Engine Specifications as per the 2008 Tech Manual. . All Briggs Engines must have 3 Tech Bolts installed: Carburetor, Head and Side Plate. Mufflers will be required. . Box Stock Project Engines or subject to a Claimer Rule: $200.00 as per Factory Shipping / $300.00 Race Ready. H. All Box Stock Project Classes will be required to run the MAXXIS EL Compound Tires Only. I. All other Classes will be required to run MAXXIS Tires (4). Tire compounds are optional. Tires can be cut and prepping will be allowed in personal pit area only. No prep will be allowed out side personal pit areas. . No Torches will be allowed in pit area. Anyone caught using a Torch in pits will result in expulsion from Series. J. Point Class Entry Fee: $55.00 first Point Class: $50.00 each additional Point Class per Driver. . Point Class Awards: 1st place1 Set Maxxis Tires. 2nd place 1 Set Maxxis Tires. 3rd -10th place: 2 - 800 Maxxis Tires. . Pro Class Entry Fee: $60.00: Pay Out: 1st $500.00 2nd $200.00 3rd $100.00 4th $60.00 5th $50.00: 15 Kart Minimum or 100%. . Pro Class Pay Out Subject to Change with Sponsorship Support: The above Payout will be the Minimum Pay Out. . Reserved Numbers: $10.00 one Class: $5.00 each additional Class per Driver. . Gate Fee: 7am until 1:00pm $20.00 Adult: Kids 7 & Under Free: Gate Fee: after 1:00 pm $10.00 Adult . Gates will Open Friday: 4pm until 10pm. Registration and Safety Tech will open from 6pm until 9pm. . Gates will Open Race Day: 7am. Registration and Safety Tech will Open from 7am until 11am. . Drivers Meeting 8:30am.
